Chair Yoga or Gentle Yoga @ the Casey Jones Pavilion

Join a chair and mixed ability class focused on strengthening and stabilizing movement to help build a better foundation for balance.
I work with students individually by modifying their poses according to their abilities and assigning daily, safe exercises students can do on their own according to their needs in order to maintain movement between classes. Each class will include introduction of a science-based wellness topic and group discussion.
Following is a typical class schedule:
· 10 minutes check-in/sharing
· 30 minutes chair yoga practice
· 5-minute guided meditation
· 15-minute wellness topic and group discussion leading into social time
Chair Yoga- ages 50+ Mondays: 9:30-10:30am
Gentle Yoga- all ages- Thursdays- 6-7pm
